Flat-Bed Scanners 

Pro-curo's integration features are not offered by other tracking systems in our price and class. The Pro-curo system can work with pre-etched 2D barcode vials from any source and can even produce its own 2D barcode vial labels, capable of surviving in environments of -196 to +120. 

We are able to use these 2D barcodes on the vials, to offer the latest in multi-scanning identification solutions, supported via our integration with many types of multi-plate flat bed barcode reading devices. These devices can read 96 to 384 vials at a time, the seamless integration into Pro-curo means that many efficiency savings in sample creation, movement and auditing can be made offering the customer true value.

Pro-curo has developed a partnership with Ziath Ltd and FluidX, who specialises in the development and manufacture of 2D barcode readers, alone with CryoGaTT Systems Ltd who specialise in the development and manufacture of RFID readers and consumables.

Ziath Ltd 

The Ziath High Speed Single Rack Scanner is easy to set up, and  will fully integrate with pro-curo with a robust design and additionally has a cryoprotection option to prevent condensation when scanning cryogenically frozen samples .

The Ziath Cryorack scanner can scan two cryoboxes, is easy to set up, has a robust design and additionally has a cryoprotective coating as standard, to prevent condensation when scanning cryogenically frozen samples. 

FluidX Ltd

XTR-SINGLE standard single 2D barcoded tube reader

Takes less than 1 seconds to scan and decode.

Compatible with all tubes in 24, 48, 96, 240 and 384 well format. Also suitable for use with larger capacity storage tubes including cryo tubes, glass tubes and biological sample tubes. 

Unlike any other multi-rack 2D barcoded tube scanner, the XTR-RACK TETRA FLEX is fitted with four linear barcode readers to positively verify rack location & orientation. The only multi-rack reader that can tell you where each rack was placed!

Compatible with all 2D barcoded tubes in SBS rack format.

CRYO VERSION available with integrated frost reduction system allowing multiple racks to be read straight from freezer without build-up of frost or condensation on the underside of the glass. 

CryoGaTT Systems Ltd 

CryoGaTT has commissioned research into RFID technology. The RFID design unique to CryoGaTT is a 13.56MHz RFID that will survive gamma radiation and work at -196°C. This RFID is then package into a number of formats that allow it to be embedded in such items as

• cryovials and cryoboxes
• cryostraws and associated disposables
• any plastic containers
• any glass containers
• printed labels

CryoGaTT has a variety of configurations of test tube readers. Based upon, and built to the same specification as our box readers they provide low intrusion reading capability wherever they are positioned.
